Why can't I share my phone number in chat?

Before a booking is confirmed, Kosmos chat blocks phone numbers, emails, websites, and social media handles (WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) from being sent. This keeps early conversations on-platform so a scam or no-show can still be traced and resolved. If a message is blocked, you'll see why and can edit it and try again — nothing you typed is lost.

Once the seller accepts and payment is confirmed, both sides' phone numbers (and, for the seller, their business address) are shared automatically at the top of the chat — no need to type them at all. After that point, coordinating delivery, pickup, or return details directly is expected.

Repeatedly trying to share contact details before a booking is confirmed triggers a temporary messaging restriction and a review by our team.
